Strange, True & Religious stories from around the world

“With or without religion, you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion.” -- Steven Weinberg, quoted in The New York Times, April 20, 1999; U.S. physicist (1933 - )

"Blessed" U.S. Highway I-35 Cures Homosexuality

Here's what is really Strange, True & Religious:
This picture, of their ultimate I-35 goals, caps the ST&R wackiness requirements for another story about I-35, by showing that it is apparently very easy to slip up and mock those who are integral to carrying out your corporate will. The I-35 religious groups and people belong to a small movement which has been revived conveniently.

This video represents a way to begin to define I-35 as a special highway. It's an early effort early in the I-35 propaganda campaigns.

Hwy. I-35 has special issues with homosexuality, so it helps to cleanse it from you nearly immediately, even if cameras are rolling and you are caught in the middle of a crowd of zealots as you came to your local gay dance pub.

The public relations needs to begin The I-35 Backbone Highway Campaign seem to consist of finding willing human tools eager to achieve public religious street credibility such as those captured in this video. This is also a good screening for potential political hires; another screened list of names to sell.

What it amounts to is religious assault by a group. There they were. Conducting a "Purity Seige." Laying in wait for gay human prey, to pounce on him unexpectedly, to hold him in place using aggressive sociological and psychological tactics, and to religiously convert him by ganging up on him.

Unfortunately for the young man who was "cured" of his homosexuality, the triggered side-effects of another pre-existing condition, which rendered him highly susceptible to that kind of passionate, intentionally aggressive proselytizing targeting gays, finally wore off days after the cameras left and dragged the excited religious hit squad away with them. His celebration of his new "freedom" from shame and the joy of feeling accepted as an equal was ended. After a while he was left quite depressed.

The real truth of the "specialness" of Hwy. I-35 is easily demonstrated by the information freely given from the websites of the two corporate associations.

NAIPN and NASCO are carving out a new kind of North-South transportation corridor from Mexico to Canada through the heart of America, right through the ground, people and lives which used to only be under the coast-to-coast "non-stop fly-over" peak.

With few exceptions, there seems to be nothing in our evident physical world strong enough, rich enough and commited enough to prevent NAIPN and NASCO from ripping a deep scar, an unnecessary scar, into the body of our nation.

Creating foreign-nation islands of U.S. territory as "inland ports", to be outside the regulation of local, state, and the usual territorial federal laws is a mistake. "Inland ports", like all ports, will be monitored less because of the high volume of fast, large traffic and goods. "Inland ports" are regulated closer to our own international shores and ports: poorly; worse than we care to imagine.

Now for the kicker. Inland ports have to be connected by something or they wouldn't be ports. The entirety of the I-35 system will be in a legal gray area where it provides the truckers with a place to travel which is essentially a canal which is "not America" between the inland ports to America. Extra paperwork to enter or cross "not America" might become necessary.

Instead, we could spend this same huge amount of public-private money tightening our borders more, with a state-run, national-backed pro-active system of attempting complete control over the entirety of our national borders. We desperately need to check more of what comes in through our ports and the southern border is out of control.

But no, similar ideas are too legal and not as personally profitable as creating a wild, unregulated backbone toll road system rigged to enable corruption, to profit from for a century or so.

Corruption withers backbone absolutely.

Unrepentant: Kevin Annett and Canada's Genocide

This documentary reveals Canada's darkest secret - the deliberate extermination of indigenous (Native American) peoples and the theft of their land under the guise of religion. This is never-before-told history as seen through the eyes of the former minister (Kevin Annett) who blew the whistle on his own church, after he learned of thousands of murders in its Indian Residential Schools.
